Thanksgiving

We were able to spend Thanksgiving this year with Thomas' family. We really enjoyed being home for the holiday. It also was a nice break from work and school! For an early Christmas present from Thomas' parents we were able to see the play Wicked. It was an amazing performance. Below are some pictures from our trip.

Halloween

We got together with Sarah, David, and Joseph to carve our pumpkins for Halloween. I guess we carved them too early because they molded before Halloween day. Oh well! It was still fun. Here are some pics of the process and the final product.

Thomas carving his Ninja turtle pumpkin

Sitting around carving pumpkins. Sarah isn't really angry she just looks it in this pic. Haha!

This is me carving my pirate ship pumpkin.

Here are the final products of our carving. If you can't tell we have a ninja turtle by Thomas, a pirate ship by me, at witch by Sarah, Dwight Shrute by Joseph, and Guitar Hero by David. Pretty cool!!!!

Summer Vacation in Florida

Thomas and I went to Florida this summer to visit my grandma. It was so nice to get out for awhile on a vacation. Here are some pics from our trip:

Getting ready to go boating on Uncle Ferd's boat.

We got to ride a fun car up and down the beach.

Thomas and I catching some fish off Uncle Ferd's dock. This is probably the first time I've caught a few fish at once. We used live bait so that probably helped. Thomas got a nice catfish!!

Mom and Dad got to come with us for a few days as well. It was nice spending time with them.

So these are just a few of the many pictures we took on our trip. We had a blast and hope we can go back again soon!

Sadie's Adoption

Thomas and I recently flew out to California for Sadie's adoption. It was so nice to be able to hang out with family and be in California again. While we were there we got to go to the LA temple, celebrate Dave's birthday, play liars dice, get pedicures, and oh yeah we went to Soup Plantation which is always good. I was so nice to relax for a long weekend. Here are some pictures to highlight our trip:

At the courthouse for Sadie's adoption.

At the Los Angeles Temple for Sadie's sealing to the family.

Who is this guy?

Ok here we go....finally getting around to blogging! I'm just going to start with our most recent events since there never seems like a good place to start on these. I'm adding some pictures from Thomas' brother Chet's graduation. We had such a blast with his family in town. Our new favorite game is liars dice so we played that every night they were here.

The most recent pictures I'm putting on here are of Thomas and I at the Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days Rodeo. My favorite event at the rodeo is the muttinbustin (sp?). It's where little kids, ages 2-6 come out on sheep and try to stay on as long as possible. So funny! The best part of the rodeo is of course the strawberries and cream. That's really why we went!
